We got some fantastic artwork out of Eben this weekend, when he was assigned "writing the grandmas". I have to do that more often!! He is really really into knights and castles and ninjas.. so above you'll find knights in armor defending the castle shooting lots of arrows, some with capes and some with feathers in their helmets. On the bottom picture, the gray and orange guys are bad guys. The orange guy is dead because he wasn't wearing armor (logical). Jaffa contributed the blue one with the purple feather.
Don't tell memere because she probably hasn't gotten it yet, but Jaffa's first real letter to her was awesome.. some of it phonetic, but awesome nonetheless!
Both kids have been doing well in math. Eben was super jealous of Jaffa's online math homework, so she made him a math worksheet.. that they then did together. When he has first grade homework next year, guess who's going to be in charge of helping him with it?? Ha!
