We happened to be around when Leechee lost her skin this time. It was quite a wrestling match, akin to getting off a wet scuba suit with just your mouth. [top photo is just the head out, bottom one is just the tail left to peel.] She did it though, and ate it along the way. Extra protein, I guess. Now she is looking quite beautiful with her new pretty skin..
Shhhhhh.. there is a suspicion that Leechee might be a boy.. at this point, hard to tell but we'll keep you posted.
