Statues and fish

When we first visited the ARMA museum in Ubud, Zeric said, "Bonnie would love this place!"  So, it was a 'must' on our list this trip. We enjoyed the two buildings, one with the traditional art, and one with the modern art. Both were fantastic, with some old art reclaimed from abroad. With so many pieces from the early 1900s, and a variety of styles through the years, it an impressive representation and celebration of Indonesian artists! Because Jaffa and Eben liked the art so much last time, they brought their supplies, so that they could be inspired...

The museum grounds are beautiful, and have lots of statues.. clearly from some carvers with a sense of humor, to be matched by that of the people who distribute flowers every morning!

We love Memere!

This bridge was over a pond with lots and lots of fish.. Jaffa (above) has her hand in the pot of fish food, so they were always happy to see people!  Loved the water lilies too..

We really enjoyed wandering around, and finding komodos (not real!), and another fish pond..
