Disney princesses and heros

In the Rochester, NY War Memorial indoor arena, when I was 10, we used to go to the Ice Capades as a special respite from the ice and snow piling up outside.  Here in Jakarta, 40 years on, the novelty of acres of ice wasn't lost on us Saturday.  The kids and I got our sweat shirts and sweaters just on the odd chance that Disney on Ice was chilling.  We needn't have bothered as it was hot and stuffy up in the rafters, but boy did the kids love seeing the Princesses and Heros!  

Aladdin and Jasmine skated through the souk and fell in love....

Mickey and Minnie skated around the arena in full insipid splendor, and fell in love...

Snow White lived with 7 guys before the Prince showed up and showed her what a real man was all about, so they fell in love...

Prince Dashing killed a dragon spewing REAL FIRE on the ice and kissed Sleeping Beauty... they fell in love...

Ariel lost her voice and chased Prince Eric up on land, leaving her finned friend behind, and fell in love...

Jaffa and Malvy seem to have fallen in love too... but NOT with Lazar and Bos, "euuuuww Daddy!"

Is Eben falling in love with Yade (Jade) outside Disney on Ice??  Cool it cowboy.

Dancing lobsters and skating octopi bring it all home.  Overall a Saturday morning well spent!
