Having promised to get out on the weekends more, we found out about the very last day of the puppet festival and headed downtown to the museum to see what we could see.
We saw some big statues with scary skulls..
a few Ganeshas (yay!) and pretty girls (double yay!)
..and lots of other interesting things that we had not seen before.
I really like these dudes.
We saw three puppet shows.. one American, one Spanish, and one New Zealander. There were so many people from so many countries. It was amazing. In all, they had had 80 performances--of all kinds. We very much enjoyed it.. and need to make good on that promise again, as there must be something interesting happening in this huge city!!
