We fulfilled the dreams of a couple of kids one afternoon in early August by reserving some spaces on the Sea Gypsy.. an infamous Cape Cod pirate ship! She was sea worthy, and quite pretty.. and to board, one had to do a full transformation (complete with vest and tattoo), pass a sword fight test, and take the pirate oath. 
Once aboard, the Jolly Roger went up the mast and the pirates were given their orders.
Not long into the voyage, we learned that one of our very own had abandoned ship to go off and find the treasure on his own. Quick action was taken, and he was blasted with the ship's water cannons until he apologized and surrendered.
The captain was proud!
and we pulled the treasure up from the ocean.. shared the booty..
and finished the trip with a big swig of grog!!
[Eben was dubious.. he didn't believe it had dragon blood in it,
he was pretty convinced it was grape Fanta.]
