We so very much enjoyed the Highlands, it's so beautiful and the people are very friendly. True that it was chilly, even in July, but still tempting to buy a fixer upper and spend weeks staring at the ocean and breathing in the air.
Before leaving back to Durham, we saw a rainbow.. the whole arch (not pictured here). We'd never seen that before, and there was much discussion about hunting down the pots of gold at the ends.
And, we fed what was left of our bread to the seagulls... Jaffa was funny, calling the "ladies and gentlebirds" for a treat.
