So, a few weeks ago, Iwan, the son of Ibu Sri--our amazing nanny/housecleaning/manager of maintenance people/giver of advice about handling Indonesia--got married. To lovely Dhonna. And we were invited! So, we out on our fanciest clothes and sat in the car for two hours.. and joined the festivities. If you remember, Indonesian weddings only require that you stop through, take pictures, and eat a plate of food. Then you can go. So, we did.. but we lingered a little to meet some family.
Eben and Zeric both did a great job eating everything on their plates. Eben was actually quite excited about the food... but we were outside, and it was hot.
The table we were sitting at, and all of the people who joined at that moment.

An the singer. A little weird to have an Indonesian Katie Perry at a traditional wedding.. but nevermind. And remember I told you that anyone who has a microphone in their hand in Indonesia has it turned on to max volume?
It was a lovely afternoon. Jaffa especially liked Iwan's red beaded slippers.
