So this is the place where lots of people who ate cake got their heads taken by Madame la Guillotine. Again, another great opportunity to teach about democracy! We talked about how the king and queen were not taking care of their people, and so the French people decided that they wanted to choose their ruler. And so whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!! We were all a bit disappointed that they since cleaned the place up, as we wanted to see the big blade and all. It is very pretty now, though. Apparently a destination for Asian brides and grooms.
And great to have the Luxembourg Gardens just a few steps away. Particularly because someone designed chairs just for Zeric.. and Eben.
