Uncle Kevin can come to Jakarta!

The only thing that delayed this posting is that it took me awhile to have my camera/iPhone ready at the same moment that a zippy McD's motorbike went flying by.  Finally, the other night, there was one waiting for me outside of our compound. Apparently the guards were have a triple cheeseburger craving.  Look, Uncle Kevin!  24-hour, 7-days-a-week McDonalds delivery!!  I can't vouch for the quality of the food given that I haven't eaten it in decades on any continent, but they seem to have all of the essentails--and more.  See the full delivery menu below, available online at http://www.mcdelivery24hrs.com/, just choose "Jakarta Selatan" (south Jakarta) and "Kemang" as your neighborhood. Note the additions of rice and super size rice, and spaghetty.

The other thing that happens here that I haven't seen in the US is manual washing of the Big M.  No harness, no net, no scaffolding.. just a lot of TLC for the golden arches!
