We miss our neighborhood, and really like to hang out there when we are home. It's great to see all of the changes that are taking place! We still love going to the farmers market.. and we take pictures of all of the things that we crave when we're gone
.. which includes our friends!!
We also planned a time for friends to meet us in Malcolm X park, as we love to hang out there and see all the kinds of people in the 'hood. And, Jaffa practiced her tight rope walking, thanks to a nice guy who was willing to share his rope. We liked the jugglers and acrobats too.. what a fun afternoon!
We were also so happy to see Joe, Ellie, Lynn and David, Fred and Sarah.. great that people came out, in spite of the 100 degree heat (though not so bad in the shade!).
It was especially great to see Tiana and Roland, who we hadn't seen in a long, long time.. as we were just leaving DC when they had arrived. So happy to have had some time to catch up!!
