Copeland gave us a super terrific tour of the Windy City, in just two nights and one day!
We saw her school
We ate pie!
We walked and explored
We saw Lilly :)
We ate ice cream at Jenny's, where Copeland works
We ate burgers, and snuggled in the booth
We saw a moose
We saw where Copeland is selling her work!
We played tourist
We also visited The Art Institute and learned about the impressionism
We also saw an exhibit about Gaugin, who, it turns out worked in just about all media - sculpture, woodworking, painting, ceramics.. who knew??
And super exciting - we saw batik from Indonesia, including a piece from our friends at Bin House!!
