A castle and a cave

After canoeing, we headed to the former-castle-turned-into-hostel.. 

..just a little 3 km hike uphill to get there! We learned about nettles along the way.

The space at the hostel was great for playing hide-and-seek and running around. 

They had a terrific, hardy, German dinner menu too! 

And flowers everywhere! The girls picked us a beautiful bouquet.

After a good sleep (and making and stripping our own beds!),
we were off exploring nearby fields and caves. T
his part of Germany is stunning.. and it was a beautiful day!!
