We thought a lot about Tirzah this trip! Just down from us on the beach was a conservation center for turtles. They had a hatchery for eggs, and turtles of all ages. They put them back in the ocean when they get big enough--and we saw some of those when we were out snorkeling too, and they were HUGE (but peaceful and shy)!!

Oh man, sounds like I might make Gili my permanent home! Mom was telling me about the turtles, but I have so many questions! Can't wait to go and get the answers :) Wish I was there with you all!
