There are many, many reasons why we were sad to leave Carcassonne. We had had a great time and saw so many friends, and met some new ones like Philippe the truffle guy and Richard our landlord and his dog Doha (now I want a griffin too!!). We loved the food and the farmers market.. the town itself and all of the beautiful old buildings.
And, here is another reason why we didn't want to leave.
