I'm not sure how eight years has gone by since Jaffa was born.. but in these years, she has turned into a fantastic girl. She is big-hearted and creative, she is sometimes persistent and almost always in a good mood. She has a great memory for movies and songs she likes. She is artist from the deepest parts of her, and she is becoming an expert at swinging.
Her Frozen-themed birthday party was long in the planning. Thankfully, Memere brought the Frozen plates and decorations, and she made the crucially important Anna dress for Jaffa. And--at the last minute--the Olaf costume for Eben (I made the nose, and painted his arms brown).

| everyone loves Olaf! and he loves warm hugs!! We played a number of Frozen-themed games: Build your own snowman competition (this is how we do it in the tropics)  Draw your own shoe and pin it on Hans' bottom to KICK HIM IN THE BUTT!

even when you are francophone
Eat pizza from our favorite pizza chain (thankfully not Pizza Hut!)
and eat cake! This was a joint effort on the part of at least four moms, putting it together, aiming to look like Elsa's ice castle..
hmmm.. close your eyes and sneeze, and you'll see it!

Wow!! Our little girl is 8.
Cheers to another great year of fun, and lots of growing and learning and
playing and loving and trying out new things.
